Knowledge Platform on South-South Cooperation for Water Security

The knowledge platform on water security is a component of the “Comparative Studies of Applying Ecohydrology and IWRM for Upscaling Water Security in Asia & Africa through UNESCO Category 2 Water Centre” that has been carry out by the Humid Tropic Centre Kuala Lumpur (HTCKL) with the involvement of a network of universities and other research institutions and collaboration with UNESCO category2 water centres and Chairs from Africa.

Africa: Category 2 water centre under the auspices of UNESCO
  • Regional Centre on Integrated River Basin Management (RC-IRBM) of Kaduna, Nigeria

UNESCO water Chairs: UNESCO Chair on Water Resources from Khartoum, Sudan
